I am admittedly a powershell n00b, so I am very open to input even if it is "thats stupid and you shouldn't be doing that." The one thing I have learned very well is that it really stinks when you go to try something and a cmdlet or parameter does not work on a lower version. I am trying to force myself into learning and using more powershell in my day to day life. ![]() My reasoning for this is mostly being able to remote into machines and run cmdlets. (I am currently adding the latest version to our deployment image, and I am tossing around they idea of upgrading the existing Win7 machines. ![]() Does anyone have experience with this and/or a preferred method? I am sure there are different ways to do it, possibly better ways. VBscript Opens a new windowis probably the best example I can find, but its been some time since that article was written.
